01 — The path

A year-long pipeline from first lesson to founding team

Not a lecture series. Each level ends with something real: a certificate, a working AI application, a pitch in front of investors.

Level one — Capability

Learn the essentials

Self-paced AI and CS fundamentals on the OpenImpact Lab, our free online learning platform. Finishing the Foundation course is what qualifies you for the bootcamp — and it's open right now.

  • Everything runs in the browser — no setup, no installs
  • Hands-on labs with modern AI tooling
  • Foundation Certificate on completion
Start level one
Level two — Creation

Build in the bootcamp

Weekly live sessions with coaches from Google and academia. You aren't studying AI systems — you're shipping one, from the ground up, with two rounds of professional rehearsal before demo day.

  • Live coaching in small teams
  • Two rounds of professional presentation rehearsal
  • Ship a working "Hello World" AI system & earn your second certificate
Level three — Capital

Launch a startup

The live-fire exercise. Form a founding team of three to five, build an MVP from your own idea or the "Googler Wishlist," and pitch it directly to angel investors.

  • Weekly startup coaching
  • Demo a real Minimum Viable Product
  • Pitch day with angel investors
02 — Student work

Built by students in our last course

05 — Questions

The short answers

High school, college, and post-graduate students — and career changers. No prior coding experience is needed to start; everything runs in the browser.

Nothing. Every program since 2021 has been free, funded by donations and corporate matching. We're a 501(c)(3) public charity.

Start the Foundation course on the OpenImpact Lab — that's step one of the whole journey, and it's open right now.

Online, on the cloud. Past cohorts spanned the US, Taiwan, and Hong Kong with sessions scheduled across time zones.

Level one is self-paced. The bootcamp runs one live session a week (about 90 minutes) plus team project work — a few hours weekly for most students.

The 2026 course is coming. The line starts at the Lab.

Free, self-paced, and the first step toward the Fall 2026 roster.
