About

Computational social equity, taught one cohort at a time.

CS Equity AI is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity. We exist to make sure the benefits of artificial intelligence are accessible and fair across all communities — starting with who gets to learn it.

Our mission

To drive computational social equity by empowering the next generation of diverse leaders with accessible AI education and advanced computer science skills.

We began running free community programs in 2021 and formally incorporated as a nonprofit in 2024. We use state-of-the-art technology and global collaboration so that students — regardless of background or geography — can apply ethical AI to real problems and give back to their communities.

How we work

Three strategies, one mission

i

Accessible, cutting-edge education

Zero-cost, high-quality CS education in cloud computing, data analytics, and ethical AI — delivered through the OpenImpact Lab so students in underserved areas get the same access as everyone else.

ii

Pathways to industry

Partnerships with universities and technology companies; mentorship, networking, and demo days that turn coursework into career openings.

iii

Equity & inclusion, from within

We equip graduates with a commitment to ethical AI, so computational social equity is driven from inside the industry — not lobbied from outside it.
