Highlights from classes, March through May 2023.
An eight-week course designed for students with no prior experience in computer science. Our group of sixteen — ten high school sophomores, four juniors, one senior, and a college senior majoring in Information Engineering — set out to discover whether technology was for them. Most found out it was.

Course structure
Segment 1 — Android application modification
- Modified the TensorFlow Lite Pose Estimation Android demo
- Skills: programming, machine learning, mobile app development
- Outcome: an AI-powered Android pose classifier using MoveNet and TensorFlow Lite
Segment 2 — Cloud-based Android system development
- Developed Android systems on Google Cloud Platform
- Skills: virtual machines, building and modifying Android systems, cloud development
